Gurr News : Christopher Gurr Joins Stars of Tomorrow Judges Panel

Christopher Gurr has been announced as the third adjudicator for the 2018 Rochester Broadway Theatre League’s Stars Of Tomorrow musical theatre competition to be held in Rochester, NY, May 24th, 2018.

From a field of some forty young performers one leading male and one leading female will be selected to represent Rochester in a national competition in New York City in late June; the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, also known as… 

The Jimmy Awards.

Local music director and theatre educator Don Kot and Broadway performer and Bette Midler backup-singer Nicolette Hart will join Gurr on the judge panel.

Christopher Gurr is an American theatre artist and educator known for playing a wide range of roles on Broadway and across the U.S. as well as the more readily accessible reaches of Canada.

Native Southerner, Midwest educated, with chapters in Northern California and southern Appalachia he currently makes his home in New York City.
