It’s that second text—you—that, when allowed to be fully present, guarantees your audition will be utterly and completely unique.

SELF-TAPE ASSURANCE
I love self-tapes. I’m not kidding. I love doing my own and I love helping others with theirs. That can mean any combination of items from either side of the audition equation:

• Mining of the sides for all the details
• Mapping out the world of the scene
• Crafting the camera frame, the scene’s container
• Setting up the givens that will cause spontaneous action within the frame
• Defining the logical targets, also known as eyelines

• Reader, remote or in person
• Shooting in my studio space or
• Remote shooting in your own space
• You can take the video files and “roll your own” audition or
• I can edit and package the files and upload them to you or your reps
