Client News : Ben Davis Returns To South Pacific
Classic Broadway Baritone,
Classic Broadway Baritone Role
Congratulations to my longtime buddy and sometimes client, Ben Davis, on the opening of yet another production of South Pacific, this time (very sensible for December) at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, California.
Ben and I met on the first national tour of Monty Python’s Spamalot! I played his mother. It was simpler time.

Ben’s one of the busiest actor I know. Can’t wait to see what’s next for him.
Here's what Ben has to say about our work as coach and client :
“I believe Christopher’s experience as a teacher, director, and actor make him unique and even superior when it comes to coaching.
His technical knowledge of on-camera work, his text analysis, discerning taste, and—maybe most importantly—his ability to effectively communicate with you as an actor, make him invaluable to the working and wanting-to-work actor.
Personally, win or lose, I just want to walk into an audition knowing I’ve done everything I could’ve done to prepare. That’s what coaching with Gurr provides me, peace of mind. ”
Nothing makes me happier than seeing my friends and clients working. On stage, in rehearsal, in auditions, in the studio.
I love this work and would love to share it with you.
