Gurr News : Christopher Gurr on Casting Panel for Actors' Equity Foundation


The Actors’ Equity Foundation in cooperation with the Casting Society of America is hosting a panel with actors and casting directors fashioned around the question, “What is a day in your life?” as a way for individuals from both sectors of the industry to better understand each other’s processes, problems, and possible solutions.

The event will take place in the council room at Actors’ Equity New York offices and the panel has been assembled by Tara Rubin of Tara Rubin Casting

Panelists include AEA actors Em Grosland, Christopher Gurr, Raymond Lee, and Mandi Masden and Casting Society of America members Stephanie Klapper, Nancy Piccione, Xavier Rubiano, and Tara Rubin. The panel will be moderated by CSA member Karyn Casl of Telsey + Company.

Christopher Gurr is an American theatre artist and educator known for playing a wide range of roles on Broadway and across the U.S. as well as the more readily accessible reaches of Canada.

Native Southerner, Midwest educated, with chapters in Northern California and southern Appalachia he currently makes his home in New York City.
